On my mind. In my heart. Laughter too.

My dear friends art. He’s quite a special friend and person.
Living in Israel. Just been thinking about him a lot lately. Hoping he can keep going with his art. He’s been very busy. I’d like to buy some work of his. He said I could have anything for free. But I’d like to pay him. Still even stopping to package something for me is asking too much now I think. I’ve known him since about 2005. He’s from NYC.
A very gifted person. Writer, visual artist. Humanitarian.

Make a Wearable Blog Repost from Nov 2005

Making a transfer for a Tee shirt or sweat shirt that is an image of your blog is easy to do, and you can be creative about what goes where.

I am soooo sorry I have none to show you right now, they are all out and about! This link will be in my sidebar!

Kim has a drawing on her blog, you may have to write her for that date, or do a blog search.

Here is a photo of my blog in reverse, however:

Buy some transfer paper from your office supply store. It will have instructions for ironing on. White for a white Tee, special dark paper for a dark Tee.

1. First it is best to blog your current blog, so it will have your links on it, and you don't want it to be too long or too short, but,, just about right for transfer paper size!

2. Make sure to post something colorful, and if you are concerned with it being really legible, there is a template called Tekka that uses a nice clear large font that would show up really nice for on a tee.

I have posted the Tekka template above this post on, "wear your blog to work day."
(This is not necessary, but just a suggestion in case you do one and think it is too small to read easily.)

3. Post a nice blog with colorful photos and some nice topics that would be of interest to your co- workers or the kids at school, or your classmates in college, etc. Say something nice about your boss, maybe it will result in a raise! Be creative, and have fun, you are making a conversation piece.

4. Once you have designed your blog, select print, page one to one, and pdf, now, save it as a PDF on your desktop.
5. Then if you have photoshop flip the image horizontally, or perhaps your printer has this option, either way, then save as a jpg or just print it out in photo shop. (You must flip horizontally) to print it out on transfer paper and iron it on a tee.

6. I like to cut my links and run them down the arm of a long sleeve tee. And you might take use a few photos to iron on the other sleeve as well.

You could be the first to wear your blog at your workplace, so hurry up now!

7. Make sure you get your blog on a tee soon to wear on ,"Wear your blog to work day!" Jan.20th
Any questions, I 'd be glad to answer,
Sherry

Happy Birthday Jeremy!!!! I LOVE YOU!! Emme'!!

Jeremy and I stayed at the lodge of The College Of The Ozarks Christmas of 2005. We had so much fun, great room, with a huge log supporting the roof. It was cool! We had room service and, rode the copper elevator, ate in the large dining room..It was Christmas time, so they had a huge tree! It was a lot of fun, I 'll never forget Jeremy and I spending time together.

We've ridden the train to Arkansas, and stayed at several hotels with pools, and swam together!
I must tell ya, besides being good company, he is one great cook, too!

Who is this unknown artist.... whose work is so familiar, seen everywhere, as we look into the daylight sky, year after year? Like a moth to a flame, like water to a soul in the desert, it feeds me now..

My photos from hiking Mt Adams, a Cascade Volcano

Taken at Sunrise. The night before it was very windy. I think I slept ouside my tent in my bag, however, that way I don't miss a star, the moon, the dawn. Or maybe this was one of those times we were short a sleeping bag, and it was cold and uncomfortable, sitting awake waiting for morning to dawn! Oh well, some things you think you will never forget, but you do.

Read more about the Cascade Ranges here...skiing the Cascade Volcanoes.
The Cascade Volcanoes

Enjoy these photos, they are so beautiful in full size, they take you there. They make me want to go back.

Adams;
Major Peaks:
Main Summit: 12276 ft (3742 m)
The Pinnacle: 12080 ft (3682 m)
Pikers Peak (False Summit): 11657 ft (3553 m) Compare with...

Mount Rainier
14411 ft (4392 m) Highest point in Washington State .
Major Peaks:
Columbia Crest: 14411 ft (4392 m)
Point Success: 14158 ft (4315 m)
Liberty Cap: 14112 ft (4301 m)
Little Tahoma: 11138 ft (3395 m)

From this area you can see Mt Hood and Mt St Helens. Higher up, of course, you can see all the Volcanoes of the area. Sigh, I wish I had moved here long long ago, when I was a kid. I don't want to reincarnate, but if I have to, I would like to climb more..all my life.

From my sister Debbie, pretty funny

Try this!
Cool Illusion

The Washington Post's Mensa Invitational once again asked readers to take
any word from the dictionary, alter it by adding, subtracting, or changing
of one letter, and supply a new definition.
Here are this year's (2005) winners:

1. Cashtration (n.):

The act of buying a house, which renders the subject
financially impotent for an indefinite period.

2. Ignoranus:

A person who's both stupid and an asshole.

3. Intaxication:

Euphoria at getting a tax refund, which lasts until you
realize it was your money to start with.

4. Reintarnation:

Coming back to life as a hillbilly.

5. Bozone (n.):

The substance surrounding stupid people that stops bright
ideas from penetrating. The bozone layer, unfortunately, shows little sign
of breaking down in the near future.

6. Foreploy:

Any misrepresentation about yourself for the purpose of
getting laid.

7. Giraffiti:

Vandalism spray-painted very, very high.

8. Sarchasm:

The gulf between the author of sarcastic wit and the person
who doesn't get it.

9. Inoculatte:

To take coffee intravenously when you are running late.

10. Hipatitis:

Terminal coolness.

11. Osteopornosis:

A degenerate disease. (This one got extra credit.)

12. Karmageddon:

It's like, when everybody is sending off all these really
bad vibes, right? And then, like, the Earth explodes and it's
like, a serious bummer.

13. Decafalon (n.):

The grueling event of getting through the day consuming
only things that are good for you.

14. Glibido:

All talk and no action.

15 Dopeler effect:

The tendency of stupid ideas to seem smarter when they
come at you rapidly.

16. Arachnoleptic fit (n.):

The frantic dance performed just after you've
accidentally walked through a spider web.

17. Beelzebug (n.):

Satan in the form of a mosquito, that gets into your
bedroom at three in the morning and cannot be cast out.

18. Caterpallor (n.):

The color you turn after finding half a worm in the fruit you're eating.
