The Rug Store. Langley WA. On Whidbey Island
Today I was on Whidbey Island and went to Langley to the rug store.
I love this place, i'm a nomad at heart.
But it is very expensive, Certainly worth the workmanship!
So much to see, what with beads; scarves, robes, rugs, yurt decor, hats, and more... that I get seriously overwhelmed.
But I do wish it were my store!

Thar She Blows!
The Gray (whales) are chowing down in Washington waters en route to Alaska.
It happens every year. So.. I went whale watching. .
Well it was farily uneventful, but I'll share my photos nonetheless.
A 4 hour tour finally yielded a small whale off Camano Island in shallows there.
He wouldn't come up, but I got this shot of him blowing.
I would have had a better look from land. I plan to drive out to see if any are at Kayak Point later this week. Oh if only a had a real kayak, I'd go visit them up close..
and....here I am sh sh shivering... on board the whale boat..
Oh BTW speaking of Whales, let me add here that Moby DIck has a new literary review, and it appears it is not an illusive book afterall.
Of course, it was never a story about a man chasing a whale, but is a book that talks about truth, but until Jed McKenna read this book, well, no one knew what it was about.
Jed McKenna talks about his discovery of Melville concerning TRUTH in Moby Dick. See Jed McKenna books to find links to his work.
