Sunday's news of family, friends, cat and apointments...

Still unnamed, watching him play with some small object in the kitchen that was so very very tiny, and all his enthusiasm as a hunter made me thinnk maybe Atilla would be a good name for him. Here he is drinking at his favorite fountain.

I have spent time with friends this weekend, Linda came over Friday night and we watched Pieces of April, and she cried, it reminded her of her family. Then Saturday I went to the farm and we made a blackberry pie from my blackberries picked this past summer in Laconner, and Steve, and Linda, Randa and Scott and I watched two movies and ate spaghetti and pie. Well I had my pie before my spaghetti, as Mother taught me to do... It was fun and there was a lot of laughter. I am so grateful for friends!

Of course my cat and I are very snuggly, and that is precious.

I talked with Daphne and Daisy this weekend , too, my kids, and that is always great! I will see them Thanksgiving, and I am really looking forward to that. And I have had an invitation to go to France to visit my cousin that lives there in Vien and he is my long lost cousin who lived many years in Morrocco as well. He and his wife are missionaries. I plan to go, I really need to see some family.

The appointment of Alito will probably go through, Bush planned this undoubtedly, and no one is as ready to fight again. I am sure it was a well thought out strategy. I feel bad for our nation that this is happening, and I urge everyone not to give up, but to send letters to editors and representatives.

Today looks lazy so far!
