Birdie, and others...

I have had company lately, but I am still working, just slowed down
a bit after my last firing.
Here are a few pieces I am working on, some smaller cups
(glasses), for Daphne and family, and Daisy, too.
Birdie is the large pot with the bird face, and she has birds
all over the back of her head, her chin is 2 birds,
she has bird eyes and cheeks. (Designed to hold a plant),
which will become her hair. ( Maybe she wil have a birdnest there)
She was really fun to do.
The large fushia bowl is going well, these under glazes
may not fire out, it would be nice if they kept their colors true.

I have to begin throwing again this week. I have gotten behind on my goal.
Tomorrow morning I will begin again, by weeks end, I should have nice new pots to design.
I am making some quick hand built dishes for Daisy, she says she is dishless.
I am making slab dishes, a set of three, these will just be glazed,
not designed with art, it takes a lot of time to do these pieces.
Glazes are great anyway!
I think they wil be turquoise and straw yellow.
Or turquoise and brown.

I think I will be moving in mid November.
(after I go to see Adam on the 12th in Vancouver)
Just got my studio together and it is time to move...Oh well.

I want to find a nice home to buy when I move,
at least 3 bedrooms, some land, and a studio.
~A log cabin would be nice.~ smile.....

Earth shoes of 70's still alive and healthy

I just took comfort in another pair.
I ordered them from next tag
where I had my choice of best deals...but not this new model!
And I want these for Christmas.
