Happy Valentines Day. Not bad having a holiday reminding us we have hearts.

Hoping everyone can grow up a bit more this year. Have heart.
Stop projecting themselves on others.
Living honest lives.
To lie is to remove others choices.
It's manipulative and lacks courage. Say your truth gently.
Stop rationalizing.
Noticing when people point their fingers to another, several do point back at them,
Remember.
Believe none of what you hear and half of what you see.
Realize your rationalizations are your own weaknesses.
And your lies about others hurts you as well as them. Locking you in delusion.

Courage. Latin Cor. Meaning heart!
Best wishes for a healthy heart day and life.

:-( No mums for next year...kings Mums

Kings provides a very special service in our country. They're growers of these amazing chrysanthemums of outstanding cultivation and quality.
They have a problem with their stock this year, and can't get the plants out.
It's very sad and I would hope they could get help to cover this loss somehow because what they do is very important by way of contribution.

These are mums (Kiku) I grew last year. I've been growing them for 3 of 4 years. Completely new at it but learning.

So if anyone knows some person who is a philanthropist send them to Kings to support their cause.

Boeing Seahawks 747

Boeing is taking advantage of the Super Bowl to
Try to make area residents and others forget their misdeeds of springing a vote on the machinists far before the contract was up and while voters were unprepared and in fact out on Christmas break the second time.
It was very unjust and a 747 SEAHAWK won't
Help those involved to sleep better once their karma sets in.
Nor will it help anyone to be implicated in corporate treachery.
So you know this jet tries to cover bad blood spilt in WA where tax breaks to Boeing have been enormous.

Don't be fooled. Wag your finger at this giant SEAHAWK.

Go Hawks!!!

This is a close up of a beautiful tye dyed (shibori)
Kimono. It's all hand dyed and made on silk satin.

Another beautiful kimono.
Photos cannot do justice.

All silk lining as well.

Mandela of sand and Moroccan chicken with fruits, tapioca pudding.

In thought it began as a leaf
Days and days and days went by, me walking past and looking at it.
Then something happened, the art, or life of it.

It began having seeds
Then roots that grew into the top.
And then it appeared as a lyre
With vibrations.
Obviously alive and it was both masculine and feminine.
It was vibration as well as  manifestation
Then it flowered.

That is like us.
We are that life
And we must 'allow' what comes to
Be. No resistance
Let it be,....
What is needed so we may also flower.
So that all will flower and see the
perfection. Be that.

And here is chicken dinner.
Tagine.
And dessert.

A few Christmas presents...

Later I'll post my spirit house from Indonesia.

This nice box from one of my best friends.
10,000 villages, too.

Tagine (Indonesia, 10,000 villages)
from
My daughter...I'm cooking in it now!
A Moroccan chicken dish
With apricots and cherries, onions , spices;
Turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, ummm..

Some beautiful Italian pieces
I have loved and now they're mine...

Another clay containing mica piece. This one from Bolivia. Got it in Vancouver.
I made a great risotto in it.
Was delicious. It was portabella mushroom and cheese risotto.
Mushrooms are high in Vit D
Btw.
Some higher than others.

Sailing through the Gulf Islands to Vancouver

Spirit of Vancouver Island
Ferry.

No photos but we saw orcas and one put on a great show.
It was nice seeing them in the expansive wild.
The ferry has about 4 types of dining available.
One is a lounge with great seating for viewing off the stern.

They have staterooms. I'm not sure why you'd need one for a less than 2 hour sail though.

My favorite wing of the museum. Victoria BC

The totems which were purchased
In The 1800's I believe.
The long houses of cedar where
the native people lived.

Beautiful blanket made for the chief
to wear on certain occasions.
